Holy Fucking Shit!

Also, I’m obligated by the Dash Media Network to post about them upon confirmation of my inclusion in their club. So here it is:

BAM!
Dash Media

Other than that, I got nothing. I contemplated on telling you about this awesome wedding we attended over the weekend, but I’m too lazy to say anything more than the fact that it was awesome.

Also, since I’m in the process of transferring all of my files to my brand spanking new computer which I got dirt cheap because the guy who sold it to me is fleeing the country, I can’t really be bothered to be entertaining right now.

Instead, why don’t you check out the rest of the members of the network for content that’s way better than mine:

This is a link that I didn’t bother to read it because it was too long, but I did see this:

Stardust

And I really felt that this could be—–OHMYGODIT’SNEILFUCKINGGAIMAN!

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

Studio 60I just caught the pilot episode of Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip. And what did I think?

Holy fuck! I have never been this excited over a pilot episode not since Firefly. No pilot episode until now.

I’ve never seen any of Aaron Sorkin’s previous work, but judging from the quality of this one episode, I’d be willing to track down some episodes of The West Wing and Sports Night to see what they’re about. At the same time, I doubt if those shows can be as good as this.

If I were to state the premise or synopsis of the show, I’d only succeed in failing to do it justice because—well any blurb can never really capture the essence of a show.

Observe:

  • A bunch of scientists solve crime using Science! (CSI)
  • An asshole doctor, who is a loveable genius nevertheless. (HOUSE)
  • A guy gets himself imprisoned so he can get his brother out of prison. Hijinks ensue! (Prison Break)
  • Guy travels across time and space in a phone booth. Usually with a cute sidekick. (Doctor Who)

Pretty lame right? So describing this show as “A show about a show” can only turn people off the show so I won’t bother.

Instead, I’ll just say this: Watch this show because it’s good. And I’m always right.
