A History of Violence

A History of ViolenceThis year brought in several good movies like Serenity, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy, Batman Begins, and Sin City. I mention them because I want to put what I’m about to say into perspective and to give my next sentence as much weight as possible.

Ready?

Wait for it.

Still there?

Here goes:

A History of Violence is by far, the best movie I’ve seen this year.

There. I said it.

I could give a detailed review, but it would be useless since:

  1. You’re not going to read it.
  2. and

  3. It’s too late for you to see it since it probably left the theaters already.

Just know that this was the role Viggo Mortensen was born to play. Aragorn was just a warm up for Tom Stall.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to making another Detective Man adventure.
