Played badminton with a couple of high school friends today. It’s the first time they’ve seen me since I’ve contracted the big P, and they were really cool about it. Particularly when I started to bleed through my shirt halfway through the game. The fact that one of them’s a doctor may have helped the others in accepting me as well as understanding my condition.
Anyway, I’ve discovered that my condition can be really handy as a conversation piece. But the downside is, during the game, I somehow got the feeling that they were taking it easy on me because of my condition.

In other news, my stalker really scared the bejezus out of me when she texted me the license plate number of one of our cars. Since the car’s relatively new, not even my closest friends have memorized the license plate number yet .
Anyway, she has seemingly stopped all stalking activities since I diverted all voice calls to a bogus number. I’m praying that this is the last I hear from her.

Also, I won’t be blogging as regularly as before because I’m currently having a love affair with this game:

I’ve always been a big fan of adventure games particularly those produced by Lucasarts like Grim Fandango, the Monkey Island games, Full Throttle, Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle. It’s a shame that many game companies have all but abandoned the development of games like them. Like Angela, I too am mourning the death of the adventure genre. Fortunately, because of DSL, I can now download and replay these games despite the fact that they’ve stopped selling them in local stores already.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to save the twin worlds of Stark and Arcadia from destruction.
