My Unilab Run For Wellness Experience

The Unilab Run United For Wellness is only my second official race and I’m already learning so much. But more on that later. First, let me to recount some of the highlights of the race.

I decided to wake up 30 minutes earlier than I did for the Century Superbods Run because of the traffic and parking problems we encountered just prior that race. So I got up at 4am, and I pleasantly noted the absence of the arthritic pain in my right ankle brought on by my psoriatic arthritis.

Rach and I arrived at The Fort at around 5-ish and made our way to the starting line. Already we noted how much more organized it was than the Century run. In the Century Run, the length of the 28th Street (a.k.a The Starting Line) was a mess of runners from all categories (21k, 10k, 5k and 3k).
