Holy Crap. Is it over already? 2 weeks ago, 2 weeks in Europe seemed like forever. And now that we’re on our final leg, it’s like the ending came too soon. Fortunately, Paris is a lot like Manila in that the traffic is terrible, the streets are narrow, and people who don’t deserve to have a driver’s license are permitted to operate a motor vehicle. Only they speak French and dress better.
Oh and speaking of the French, it’s not an exaggerration that they’re portrayed as a snooty, gay, and inhospitable people. For the duration of our stay, I don’t think we’ve met a French person who was the least bit accommodating. Or competent. Or not gay. Plus they have wierd spelling.
Anyway, even though it didn’t snow in Paris, it was by far the coldest place we’ve been to in Europe. The thermometer was reading single digits, but taking into account the wind chill, it could may as well have been in the negative 10 area. Needless to say, climbing up the Eiffel Tower really put our flimsy winter clothes to the test.
Anyway notable places we went to were:
The tour itinerary said we went to more places, but I can’t remember them. And since the pictures are no help, I will conclude that they don’t exist.
