I may be in the minority here, but I think the new Doctor Who sidekick is way cuter than Billie Piper. Her name is Freema Agyeman:
Billie Piper, the girl who played The Doctor’s previous companion, Rose Tyler, is cute enough. And by that I mean everything’s in its proper place, and in the right proportions. But if she can just return her eyebrows to the monkey she borrowed them from, she’d look alright:
Anyway, to anybody who’ve seen the Series 2 finale already, Freema made an appearance as one of the casualties. Even then, she caught my eye by being extremely boneable. However, she’ll play a totally different character for Series 3, and the similarities in appearance will be explained apparently.

I certainly hope they explain the similarity in appearance, otherwise that would irk me for a good long time. She’s pretty enough, I suppose, but Billie Piper brought a great contrast to Christopher Eccleston, and made a great balanced sidekick to David Tennant. Those two were perfect for each other in a strange way, and strange is good. Plus, characterwise, Rose was real. Her not being there anymore sucks! She meant the world to the Doctor, or I’m hoping she did.
Don’t get me wrong. I think Freema’s pretty and all, and I’m willing to give her the benefit of my doubt as to how she’ll fill in Billie’s shoes.
I think new Who sidekick Freema Agyeman is gorgous its about time that Dr Who had a black companion I think shell be great and shes certainly eye candy as far as Im concerned , Billie Piper was OK but Freemas truly exotic if judging by her brief appearance in the Finale of season two
