So let’s see, so far we’ve seen these characters with powers:
- Peter Petrelli – A male nurse who can fly. Apparently flight runs in the family since his brother Nathan can do the same thing, but isn’t too happy about it because it’s not a talent usually associated with politicians.
- Isaac Mendez – A painter who can paint the future.
- Niki Sanders – A stripper who can apparently create a stronger doppleganger who can kill those who are out to harm her. So far, the doppleganger can only exist in reflective surfaces.

- Hiro Nakamura – A Japanese office worker who can bend time and space according to his will.
- Claire Bennet – A high school cheerleader who has regenerative abilities.

- Matt Parkman – An LAPD cop with the power of telepathy.
According the the website and the promotional poster, there’s still another player in the cast we have yet to see. A D.L. Hawkins, a prison inmate who has the ability to walk through walls or something like that.
By all rights, the series should be sucking right about now. But so far, it’s been doing a decent job of not sucking. Color me intrigued. Also the world will end on November 8. Just thought I’d throw that in there.
Also, the NBC website publishes an online comic book after each episode. You can download them below:
