So I think I’m a fan now. This is getting to be a habit. It took three seasons for me to decide I liked Entourage, and the same thing’s happening here. Thing is, I never genuinely had the desire to find out what the big mystery is until now.
For season 1, I was just looking. It was intriguing for a while, but I quickly grew tired of it. I never even bothered to finish the season. I simply looked up the summaries over at Wikipedia. And since the season ender was a bit of a let down, I made a conscious decision to stop watching the show.
But unfortunately, my cousin was a big Lost Head, and wanted me to downlaod the season 2 episodes for him. Of course, since I already had the episodes on my hard drive, I may as well watch them just for the heck of it. And no, I didn’t enjoy the second season one bit.
But the first 10 minutes of this episode came as a surprise to me namely because of this:

And this:

I know they’re not much, but for some reason, the thought that there’s a suburb on the island (with a book club no less), and how the inhabitants of said suburb were that alarmed about the thought of new people on the island intrigues me to no end.
So now, I plan on getting just as obsessive and feverish as the rest of the world about any clue, no matter how minute, that the writers throw at us.
And I’m starting with this page.
Anyway, things of interest about the episode:
- At least now we know where those polar bears came from.
- Carl:

I’m not so sure that Carl is as innocent as he appears. Most likely he’s part of The Others, and was just planted there either to gain Sawyer’s confidence, or made an example of. Or maybe both. - Henry Gale’s real name is Ben. And he really is the leader of The Others. And Doctor Julie hates him.

Now where is Walt and Michael?
