Check out my new favorite show:
My Name Is Earl. It’s only been showing for a little over a month on NBC, but each and every episode so far has been awesome. It’s not Arrested Development but is still funny as shit. I hope they show it in the country soon.
Plus, it stars two of my favorite actors people on the face of the planet: Jason Lee & Ethan Suplee.
Jason Lee & Ethan Suplee weekly. With Nadine Velazquez & Jaime Pressley. How can you dismiss a show like this?
You don’t, that’s how.

Anyway, to further illustrate where My Name Is Earl figures in my TV ranking, here’s a little list I came up with called:
If TV Shows were people:
- Friends would be the people I hung out with in high school. (Not very creative, I know. But I’m just getting warmed up.)
- C.S.I. & House, M.D. would be my favorite teacher. Smart, funny, and always gets invited to hang out with the students. Only thing is, people like having them around so long as they have an interesting anecdote or two.
- Arrested Development, Scrubs & The Office would be my best friends.
- My Name Is Earl would be the guy I get drunk with, get all my dirty jokes from, feel comfortable enough with to talk about my feelings for his hot mom, and who I turn to whenever I want to a place to crash—but only if I can ignore the strange smell in his room that’s an awful lot like cat’s piss.
- Finally, Firefly would be the girl I marry.

More on Serenity:
Noel Vera, the country’s most hard-to-please, but one of its lesser known movie critics actually liked Serenity! Woot!
If you know anything about Noel, you’d know that he rarely gives his seal of approval to a movie; but when he does, then it is usually well deserved.
I didn’t mind telling him myself that “Noel is the most love.”
