Today’s word is Holiday. Let’s see what horrors I can unearth from the recesses of my mind:
Ah there’s something I haven’t had in a long time. Of course there are always weekends. But since this current project with this current client has all but robbed me of whatever rest day I’m entitled to, I think it’s safe to say that I am in dire need of a holida.
Eh. So if my first two entries are anything to go by, I’m not sure my writing will be improved by this Oneword witchcraftery. But it’s conceivable my writing might. Or it should. Holida. Pff. Can’t even type fast enough to type that last letter which could have prevented me from looking like a total imbecile.
Anyway, we’re done here.

First of all, I’d like to share a nifty little discovery that may help those like me who suffer from a perenial case of writer’s block.
It’s called Oneword.
The concept is kinda cool if you ask me. You log onto the site, it gives you a word, and you have 60 seconds to write about said word. You are only given the instruction: “Don’t think. Just write.”
Given my now hectic schedule, I don’t think I need to go into detail as to why this appeals to me. Not only do I need to devote only a couple of minutes a day to this, but it should keep me in practice for when I start school. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I’m going back to school in a couple of weeks.
So anyway, here goes nothing. I don’t plan on doing this everyday, only when I feel all creative, but have nothing to be creative about.
Without further ado, the word of the day is:
FORGET
I would like to think that I’ve forgotten more than I can still retain. Maybe because that would imply that while I have very little knowledge at my disposal, I have at one point in my life, learned quite a few things. And maybe those can come in handy when needed.
Gak. Yeah, a whole minute and this was all I could come up with. I know it’s crap, but at least it’s something. I hope to get better the more I do it though. Plus it’s fun.
