WebSapient? More like HOMOSapient! (So-called design company rips off entire portfolio from Pinoy designer)

UPDATE: As of yesterday afternoon. WebSapient has taken down its portfolio page. That’s well and good, but none of us who blogged about the whole affair are planning to delete our blog entries to serve as a reminder forĀ  them.

You remember how much I hate plagiarizers? Well it seems like there’s no stopping them. Read on for the latest offense against a friend of mine.

Meet Marco Palinar, a very talented site guy (you can check out his portfolio here), and fellow asshole of the interwebs.

Now meet WebSapient (you can Google their website. I’m not about to link to scum like them if I can avoid it), a so-called design firm offering internet solutions to people who don’t know better.

If you bothered to go to WebSapient’s website, please go to their portfolio page and see if you see anything familiar. If you didn’t even go to their website, then good for you. But then I shall be forced to describe it by way of re-enacting my reaction:

“Hey, they have some pretty cool designs. They must be really tale—wait. This MV logo looks familiar”

So You're De-Evolving
