Mel Gibson opts for less gore as he removes some of the more offensive scenes from The Passion of the Christ.
If you ask me, no amount of editing can change the fact that it was a bad movie.
Sure Mel, we’ll take you more seriously now that you changed the title to The Passion Recut.
With a title like that, maybe Mel did something more than cut a few scenes. Maybe he shot a few pickup scenes in which Keanu Reeves teams up with Jesus Christ, and then they proceed to kick some Roman ass:
Keanu: Don’t worry JC, I know Kung Fu!
Jesus: Oh, yeah? Well I’ve got these “Holy Jesus!” ninja hosts! Body of Christ ya pansies! Ptooi! Ptooi!
Keanu: Woah!
