Hi. No I’m not ready to go back to blogging full time yet because school and work are taking turns bitchslapping me into submission and laughing while I attempt to pick up what’s left of my dignity afterwards.

But I have decided to poke my head out of hiding just long enough to cast my vote in this year’s Philippine Blog Awards.

And I vote for none other than my cousin Mike Villar:

Because I am inherently lazy and am no longer familiar with the processes involved in producing original thought, I’m going to echo Lauren’s entry and say that Mike’s is one of the few blogs out there which not only gives you a glimpse into his very colorful life, but also makes you feel better about yours in a Schadenfreude kind of way.

In a milieu littered with niche blogs which do nothing but talk about the latest blog event, and how to boost traffic, Mike’s blog offers a refreshing change. He won’t force an entry just because his traffic is slowing down, nor will he recycle ideas (well, yeah he does, but let’s face it, masturbation and gay jokes never get old) just to meet the weekly blog entry quota.

In his own twisted way, his blog maintains an integrity not apparent in most pro blogs today. So you know, vote for Mikey. And maybe once he’s achieved the fame and fortune he so craves, he can replace my Arrested Development DVDs which he “conveniently” lost.
