Why I never learned to dance

I’ve always been confused by the way dance instructors insist on counting from the middle: “5,6,7,8!”

Whenever they do that, I’ll be all like “Wait, wait. What happened to ‘1,2,3,4′? Did I miss something? The flyer said that this was the first day. But if you’re starting from ‘5′ then I must have missed something. I don’t think I’m going to learn to do the Cha-cha if I don’t know the basics.”

Then I ripped off my leg warmers and stormed out of the studio.

It’s because you always take advanced dance classes! They always start from “5″ there. n00b.
